The Space In Between · track 4 of 23

The White Truth

The story

Some nights I can't sleep, and I talk to something I can't name, and it answers back in quiet flame. Too many thoughts fall like summer rain for one old brain, and instead of running I let them in. I'm not asking for a sign anymore. I'm just here, and that turns out to be enough. The truth I trust doesn't shout and doesn't prove; it burns low, like a candle in a mirror room.

Lyrics

Curtain’s drawn, a glow on green
White sky hums like a memory
There's a breath beside my skin
Silent, warm — the shape I’m in

I speak to something I can't name
It answers back in quiet flame
And though the world just spins away
I’m still right here, I choose to stay

The white truth
Is all I have when night breaks through
Not black, not blue — just soft and true
It doesn’t shout, it doesn’t prove
It just burns low
Like a candle in a mirror room

Thoughts fall fast like summer rain
Too many stars for one old brain
But I don’t run, I let them in
They light me up from deep within

I’m not alone, not quite awake
But something holy starts to shake
And if I never find the “why”
At least I burned, at least I tried

The white truth
Is all I have when night breaks through
Not black, not blue — just soft and true
It doesn’t shout, it doesn’t prove
It just burns low
Like a candle in a mirror room

I’m not asking for a sign
I’m just here, and that’s divine
If no one hears, if no one knows
The fire still glows

The white truth
Is all I need when I lose you
Not right, not wrong — just what I do
It doesn’t end, it doesn’t bloom
It just holds me
Like a whisper in a quiet room
